This Memorial Day weekend (weather wise – has been crappy) has been pretty quiet. Relaxing but quiet. I am getting to catch up on shows I’ve been meaning to watch, and cleaning the house (now that I don’t have 3 dogs). This year has already flown by too fast – we are already in the middle of the year and cannot believe it.
Today’s Instagram post was to represent the APPI Community. We come from all walks of life and ethnicity but it makes us who we are. We learn from each other and strive to the best we could be. We don’t allow others to judge us or by verbally and physically abusing each other. Things that are happening in today’s world isn’t new but rather more prominent because people think they are invisible. Or just feel they could get away with things because of their skin tone.
The men and women who fought for this country come from all backgrounds but they are all here to serve the community, the United States of America. With everyone who lives here – we are all trying to do the same thing – be the best of who we could be and bring happiness and joy to our families and friends
Violence is not the key to solving problems. There is no problem except society wants us to think there is and make it into something bigger than it actually is. Take part in today’s world – educate others who need to be educated and share knowledge of who you are and where your parents or other generations have come from.
I hope you all have an enjoyable Memorial Day weekend!
