Let’s just get into it……
I was reluctant at first with this mask. As I was creating my content I tried it on my hands and feet just for fun. It tingled a bit but when I washed it off, my skin was so smooth. Also it was a test to make sure I wasn’t allergic to it.
Then I tried it out on my face… Two days before my face was purging. I broke out on my left side of my cheek and around my hairline. The next day it calmed down a bit so I thought it was the perfect time to try out this Calamine Pore Purging Mask.
Upon application to my face – same thing happened my face tingled a bit then it dissipated. Directions are to leave on for up to 10 minutes or until dry but I left it on for just under 10 minutes. I only applied to the areas where they are normally oily which was around my nose, forehead, and around my cheeks. You can feel you face tighten as it dries.
Washing this mask off was super easy. I think maybe 2-3 swipes of water with my hands it came completely off without the struggle. My skin was left smooth as expected. It didn’t feel like it dried out my face at all. So I followed up with my normal nighttime routine which was packed with a lot of hydrating ingredients.
The following morning my face felt really dry, not sure if it was because it is so hot outside and cold and dry inside. So I just did my normal routine. My face did not have any new breakouts, so that was a plus.
Overall it is not a bad experience as a first time user to the First Aid Beauty brand.
